1. ABOUT THESE TERMS

Reddy Matrimony is a matrimonial service run by Reddymatrimony, K.R.T. Building, Old No. 36/1, New No. 34A, Gangai Amman Koil Street, Jafferkhanpet, Chennai 600083 ("the Trust", "we", "us"). By registering, signing in or using this website you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. WHO MAY USE THE SERVICE

You may use the service only if:

  • you have reached the legal age for marriage in India (18 for women, 21 for men);
  • you are free to marry under the law that applies to you;
  • you are looking for a marriage partner for yourself, or you are a parent, guardian or family member registering a profile for an adult who has agreed to it; and
  • you have not been removed from the service before.

3. YOUR ACCOUNT

  • You must give true, complete and current information, and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for your password and for everything done through your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.
  • Each person may have one account. Do not create profiles for people who have not agreed.
  • A profile becomes visible to other members only after our staff have approved it. Approval is a check on the information shown, not a promise that it is correct.
  • We may ask you for an identity document to verify your profile. We use it only for that purpose, as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. WHAT YOU MUST NOT DO

You must not:

  • give false or misleading information, or use another person's name, photographs or details;
  • upload photographs or other content that you do not have the right to use, or that is obscene, offensive or unlawful;
  • harass, threaten, insult or pressure any member, or send unwanted or repeated messages;
  • demand, offer or discuss dowry, which the law prohibits;
  • ask members for money, or use the service to sell goods or services, advertise, or collect members' details;
  • copy, scrape or collect other members' information, or share it outside the service;
  • try to get around the service's security, or interfere with how it works;
  • use the service for anything unlawful.

5. MEMBERSHIP PLANS AND PAYMENTS

  • The service has free and paid membership plans. The current plans, what each includes, their prices and how long they last are shown on the Membership page. A paid plan, for example, allows a member to view photographs and contact details according to its terms.
  • You pay by the methods shown on the payment page (currently bank transfer, UPI or cash). Payment goes to the Trust's account or office. We do not take card payments online at present.
  • A paid plan starts when our staff have confirmed your payment and activated it. Plans do not renew automatically; we may remind you before a plan ends.
  • We will give you a receipt for each payment.
  • Refunds: if a refund is due under these terms, we refund the full amount you paid. A refund is due if we charged you in error, if we cannot activate the plan you paid for, or if we close your paid account without a breach of these terms.
  • Fees are in Indian rupees. The price shown on the Membership page is the amount you pay.
  • Paying only ever buys access to the service's features. It does not guarantee a match or a marriage.

6. INTERESTS, MESSAGES AND CONTACT

  • Sending an interest or a message is a request to communicate. The other member is free to accept, decline or ignore it.
  • Treat everyone with courtesy. You are responsible for what you send.
  • You may block a member. Please report anything that worries you, to info@reddymatrimony.co.in.

7. WHAT WE DO AND DO NOT PROMISE

  • We provide a platform that helps people find each other. We do not arrange marriages and we are not a party to any arrangement between members.
  • We check profiles in the ways described above, but we cannot guarantee that every detail a member gives is true, complete or current. Matching scores and suggestions are only a guide.
  • Please take your own care before you decide: meet in public places, involve your family, check details independently (including education, work, family background and marital status), and never send money to someone you have met through the service.
  • We try to keep the service available and secure, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

8. YOUR CONTENT

  • You keep ownership of the information and photographs you provide.
  • You give us permission to store them and to show them to other members as described in the Privacy Policy, for as long as your profile is on the service, so that we can provide the service.
  • We may remove or hide any content, or any profile, that breaks these terms or that we reasonably believe is false, unlawful or harmful.

9. SUSPENDING OR ENDING AN ACCOUNT

  • You may close your account at any time by writing to info@reddymatrimony.co.in from the email address on your account. How your information is treated afterwards is explained in the Privacy Policy.
  • We may suspend, hide or remove an account, with or without notice, if you break these terms, if we cannot verify your details, or if we must do so by law.
  • Sections that by their nature should continue after an account ends, such as our records of payments, will continue.

10. LIABILITY

To the extent the law allows:

  • The Trust is not responsible for anything members say or do, or for information members provide, including false information.
  • The Trust is not liable for any loss that arises from your dealings with another member, or for indirect or consequential loss.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim about the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that cannot be limited.

We will acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

13. CHANGES

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we make an important change, we will tell members on the website or by email. By continuing to use the service after a change, you accept the new terms.
