How it works

Reddy Matrimony is run by the Chennai Reddy Elainger Peravai for members of the Reddy community. It has been a service rather than a business since 1995.

The Trust guides and assists its members. It does not mediate between families, and it does not stand guarantee for any member.

Registration is three steps: your own details, then your family and horoscope details, then the partner you are looking for.

You do not have to finish in one sitting. An incomplete registration is kept, and you can come back to it.

Every profile and every photograph is reviewed by the Trust's staff before it appears in search results, and identity documents are checked by hand.

Editing your profile after approval sends the changed details back for review, so what other members see has always been read by a person.

Search on the details that matter to your family — community, education, occupation, location, age and height among them — and save a search to run again later.

Free members can view 5 profiles a day. Horoscope matching — rasi, amsam, dasa and full porutham — is part of the Elite plan.

Shortlist a profile to keep it. Express interest with one of a fixed set of messages, so a first approach is always a recognised one.

Writing your own messages needs a Premium or Elite plan. Free and Basic members can read messages sent to them, but cannot compose.

Contact details are never shown on a profile. You reveal them one profile at a time, and each reveal counts against the allowance included with your plan.

Photographs a member has chosen to protect stay hidden until they approve your request. Any member can ask, on any plan, including the free one.

The Trust keeps a service centre in Chennai for members in and around Tamil Nadu, open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
